BATTLE FOR OLYMPUS!

This is the name of my original character contest. I will be starting it soon, so hurry and tell me if you want to enter. Now... I'll do some explaining.

Why Olympus?

well... its cool! The tourny will take place in a type of laberynthe setting. but not you average maze, it's got forests and mountains and the like also. (more info on story later.)

------* The titans have finally been banished yet again, but the war has caused a rift between the gods. Ares, the god of war, threatened to take those loyal to him and wage war on olympus and earth if zeus did not step down. Zeus however, had a different idea. The two Gods have come to an agreement. A tournament will be held, inside the labyrinth, between two teams of warriors chosen by the two gods. These unknowing wariorrs were to decide the very fate of the world.

How's this gonna work?

Well, every one who enters will be entering one of their original characters. I plan on having 64 people total, and will divide them into two teams of 32 people each. at the start of every round, you will be assigned an opponent and will be required to depict (through either a comic or story...yes story) the two charecters doing battle. And when the round ends the entries will be judged by... well, you guessed it, judges!. and the one deemed "better" is the winner of the round.

Thats basically the gist of it. Illbe filling you in on information when more people start showing interest.

What do i need to do?

okay, so just in case more people show up than i expected (which probably wont happen, but...) a sort of audition is required.for sorting things out purposes... Just a short peice of work that demonstrates why your charecter would be an asset to the Gods. this will also serve as a kindof charecter bio sketch for your opponents to reference.
As for the teams, i will be choosing them based on the charecter you entered, and his/her personality.



charecter Restrictions: whatever weapons your charecter has, they can use, as long as they arent things like, i hit you and you die or something dumb like that. um, side kicks are allowed along with tiny animal companions are, they just cant fight in your comics/stories.
You may also want to make up a colored charecter sheet for your opponents to reference along with the audition, but that is completely optional. just dont come crying to me when someone draws/colors your charecter completely wrong.

A years subscription for the first place winner. and other smaller subscriptions for the runners up.
